Eh, like all things your experience can vary. I've never been much of a player and have only had sex with like 4 girls in my entire life, but I could have easily had over 10 if I didn't turn some of them down while dating my current girlfriend. I've been in a long time relationship with a girl for 6 years now who I'll probably marry eventually and I prefer this familiar, predictable, stable day to day lifestyle over having to try about impress new females regularly. So yeah, while sex can be pretty great, I'd say having a great relationship with a SO who really cares and lightens the burden of life can possibly be even better.

Pretty much this. It's fun for a while, and it's usually great for your confidence as well, but after a while it starts becoming a routine on how you get the girl, how you do the sexy stuff and how you then end it with leaving etc.

After a while it's hard to actually like someone and know if you actually have feelings or not.

Of course everyone has a different style. Some girls are much more athletic in the bedroom, open to trying different things, some girls give better head than others, etc.

Quite an accomplishment but if your curiosity continues to linger into something that becomes unhealthy, obviously bring it up since 20 years is more than enough time to share things like that to a partner without fear of being judged. You're only human, dude.

I was really into casual sex during college because it made me feel validated. If all these girls wanted to sleep with me, then I must be worth something; even if the experience left me feeling empty.

I didn't realize how low my self esteem was until I started therapy a few years back. Looking back, there were a few girls I wish I would have tried making it work with. You live and you learn.

Meh I'd say after a while it gets empty. Im gay but I think similar principles apply.

But it depends on what type of person you are.

Like some people are the kind who wanna hang out / get to know / pillow talk with a person you sleep with. And that starts to interfere with the "casual" part, because at that point it's like you're practically dating.

So if you're that type of dude that gets attached, then you're better off waiting until you find the person right for you.
