Oh okay wait lmao, I set it so the search bar appears on the bottom, but I just noticed when I do a search it puts bars on the top and bottom, and only the top one works

Especially since there's really no reason to track your topics anyway, because clicking on "My Posts" from your account/name tab just shows you every topic you've posted in regardless.

But "search" is something every motherfucker on this board SHOULD be using, so we don't get 37 topics bitching about the same damned thing every time there's a poll. Which is the whole reason we all got so damned jaded about the poll in the first place.

Granted, that doesn't happen as much anymore (mainly because most people on the site - and definitely on this board - stopped giving a shit about the poll years ago), but it still gets annoying when 2-3 different people make 2-3 more or less identical topics about some news story or another, which could have been completely avoided if they'd actually bothered doing a search before making their own topic.

not everyone making a topic about the poll specifically says its about the poll.

the poll could be about what cereal is best. someone could make a topic titled "nah THIS is the best", and someone else goes, "this cereal is better"

what do you search for to see both?
