FI feels rather dead in the water tbh. They had so much focus on them in the last election and still didnt get into Riksdagen. Their buzz has completely faded out. Many of my female friends blabbed about voting for FI but they have moved on for this election.

This is the feeling I have as well, they've been completely invisible. But I can't rule out the possibility that they changed their strategy into more of a grass-roots movement to get support and mobilize "the correct" demographic, which I'm pretty far away from anyway.

Pretty much. They're Ocasio-Cortez on steriods. But before the last election, they were very upfront about their proposals being ideological, and that they didn't have the resources of making rigorous financial research to back them up.

Nothing on that level that I can think of. I think the bad press that NMR and similar orgs have gotten can have had a slight chilling effect. And then there was the time when kesson (the party leader) had no idea about their budget and wasn't able to answer some budget related questions in the SR's utfrgning. Oh and I dunno if it's ETC or Expressen or Aftonbladet or them all together, but they tallied all the empty seats and political wildlings in all levels of government, and it turns out - unsurprisingly - that SD are in an outstanding lead. As a punchline to that story is the fact that IIRC three of the political wildlings elected as SD candidates are openly neo-nazi.

EDIT: But I would guess that the biggest reason they haven't grown more is that M have grown a lot. I speculate that the voters that went to M were voters that would have otherwise gone to SD.

This is true, and I wouldn't be surprised if it's the case this time as well. There's still a bit of a stigma to admit you vote for SD. And if it isn't that, it's the general distrust in pollsters so they don't agree to be polled in the first place.

In which universe has M grown a lot? They are polling around 17% after getting 30% in 2010 and 23% in 2014. They have lost over 40% of their electorate since 2010.

They are on a decline after the initial jolt of energy AKBs resignation gave them. Kristersson rose the party to 23-24% at first but now they are almost back at AKBs crisis numbers.

Yes and no. I don't think anyone actually thought Hanif was threatening anyone. However, he's very clearly aware of the circumstances and context in which he's doing these things. That's why he's doing it. I'm a little sympathetic to the reaction because the alt-right (and beyond) are quite open with the fact that they're using humor to shift "what's OK to say". But I'm not really sympathetic to the outrage because it gives him all the attention he wants. Just call it what it is and be done with it - infantile provocations.
