The first 6-8 episodes or so are brilliant. After that, the show kind of starts to go off the rails, first because John K goes absolutely insane, and then because they fired John K after he went absolutely insane.

I still love Space Madness, though.

Exactly this. I'll add that my younger self adored this show, but I tried watching it a couple years ago and it just wasn't holding my interest. Space Madness is pretty great.

I missed the Ren & Stimpy vote! D'oh! ... I'd give it a 10 / 10, though. Absolute classic, at least if you're looking at the original. (The much later follow-up is ... not so great.)
