I like both but Prince was an amazing artist on another level of technical musicianship like the other user said. He could sing and was a great lyricist, he could play a bunch of instruments, he was also a god at guitar. I mean I still love Billie Jean and Bad and can recite every lyric but it's not "grown and sexy" like some of Prince's more low-key later stuff like Xs and Os, something that I appreciate now that I'm older.
