Anyway I can't stop thinking about this. It really weirded me out. I keep wondering now about my kidneys. But the article makes me feel a little better cause it says he felt pain so I guess if i don't feel pain I am ok.

My big worry is that somehow I have stones and just don't know it. But hopefully it I can't feel it it means there is nothing there. I drank some more after seeing this topic though

Arent kidney stones supposed to be monstrously painful? Like even one the size of a grain of sand is excruciating? Something doesnt add up. Also, it looks like corn.

Kidney stones hurt like you won't believe it. You cannot find 1 comfortable position. Not even one.

I've had 2 of them. Even to the people I despise the most, I won't wish them that. Drink water, people.

Also, if you're wondering, both stones (one in 2013, one in 2016, so I'm kind of afraid of 2019) had a successful exit via...y'know, where urine comes from.

They do, for me at least, it felt like it was burning my tip when it went out.

How long were you in pain for?

First, I was in pain for like...3 days for the first one. Second one was like 1 day.

To pass, first one I was in the bathroom, I had to sit to pee because the pain was just too real, after a while, pee stops, and then...a horrible, horrible burn starts at the tip of my penis. It went out after like 10 second of that burning feeling.

Second one was not that bad, it did burn, but I was like "Oh, it's coming out again, oh well, time for pain" and after another 8 or so, it popped out.

Edit: To pass, as in the entire process, it varies, I would say. I drank a lot of blueberry juice because it helps with that. So I drank that for like the entire second day of the first stone.

2nd one, as soon as I get the feeling of a kidney stone, I drink blueberry juice the very same day. So, doing that probably helps the process.

Haha, you guys/gals make me remember the second time I had the stone, after I was free of it, some people at University were just remarking on how little water I was drinking.

So, if you can set up something like an alarm to drink water, you should.

the kidney stone coming out doesnt hurt anywhere near as bad as when its going from your kidney to your bladder. its like someone stabbing you from the inside for hours and days. for me, when they come out, there's like a little tinge of pain in the Tip and you can't pee for a little bit and then it comes out

i've had 3 kidney stones. the first one hit me and i went to the doc and got it verified and got medicated and a prescription for a few varying drugs to ease the pain and the nausea and the process of it passing. the meds never really worked as well as they should have but i got lucky and it came out within maybe 15 hours of the first pain. my second one i didn't feel anything for except for a tinge and I couldn't pee and just sat in the bathroom waiting for it to come out and it eventually did. the third one i had last spring, it wouldnt come out for days and i got a kidney infection, couldn't get any proper rest, bad vomiting, finally went to see a urologist and they were going to do surgery to put a stent in to let fluid out etc so it wouldn't fucking kill me. we set the appointment for the next day and when i was leaving i took a piss in the lobby bathroom and the fucker came out. i went back in and talked to the people and gave them my stone (if you see a doc they'll give you a funnel with some mesh to catch it) and they took it and analyzed it and a few weeks later told me it was because (idr) and to drink 90 oz of water a day

i've been doing that and i hope it's enough because i never wanna have another fuckin kidney stone again. i know the complications can be a lot worse than what i went through but that shit sucks and between the stone and infection i was totally out of it for 2-3 weeks. idr how many days it actually took to pass that third one, it was a blur after the first day
