That said, the salad, soup and bread sticks deal for $7.50 is bomb. Not a lot of fat, carbs or calories and incredibly filling.

I hate the breadsticks. They are rubbery and taste like they were machine mass produced and then frozen in a warehouse somewhere prior to being shipped to the restaurant. There's nothing human about them. Why is there so much salt on them, breadmaking 101 the salt comes after the dough hydration phase but before the first rise, so that it mellow out, while this tastes like you just tossed on the outside of the loaf like an hour before baking.

They don't deserve to call themselves bread. I love bread, but I can't taste olive garden breadsticks without feeling betrayed. We're mortal enemies. I'll never forgive them.
