They had the songs in Beauty and the Beast remake. Lion King and Mulan both have superior songs but those remakes won't have them. No Make a Man out of You in Mulan remake. No Be Prepared for Lion King remake. It really pisses me off

That's sexist

That would kinda fit with the theme though so it's fine. The song is when they think she's a man. And they are sexist characters. It works in the story

Yea supposedly Mulan and Lion King won't have any songs in them. Just a straight story telling but no singing. Makes no sense why they did singing for one movie but then not with the others

Every time someone asks this question, I answer simply with Christopher Walken's, uhh, 'unique' rendition of 'I Wanna Be Like You.'

You would deeply regret seeing 'Be Prepared' and 'Be a Man' get similar treatment.

It pisses me off that Jeremy Irons isn't returning.

Having a predominantly black cast is cool, but they shouldn't make a 1 to 1 equation between race and species. James Earl Jones gave a fine performance as Mufasa, but Scar stole the show. He was the most complex character by far. Provided that both were willing and able, there's no reason why both men should not be allowed to reprise their respective roles.
