Really not sure what to play next now that I'm about to finish the current game I've been playing.
These are the ones I own and have yet to play...well, I tried Shadow of Mordor and Warriors All Stars for a bit but didn't like them and quit...
And I haven't checked, but as a $60 backer for Bloodstained, I should have a code for Curse of the Moon, right? Had way too many games to get through to pay much attention to it so far.
I don't own Saiyuki yet, but it looked pretty interesting, probably picking it up sometime this year.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning was a better game than it got credit for at the time it came out, but it's kind of shallow and hasn't necessarily aged all that well. Shadow of Mordor can be fun and interesting, but there's very little to it, so it can get repetitive/boring very quickly.

Horizon Zero Dawn is an absolutely brilliant game, though.

You know how to find your backer-code for CotM, right?

You should be able to get to your "account" on Fangamer through an e-mail sent to you by "orders@fangamer".

Once you click on the link provided, you should easily be able to find your Download Code.

I assume it's somewhere in my emails, I know I had to go into fangamer before to change the game console I get my copy on to PS4 from Wii U (*cries*)

Thanks, though. I should check soon.

Just finished Nights of Azure 2, and it looks like Dragon's Dogma and Horizon Zero Dawn are tied.

Hmm, those two along with Spirit of Sanada were the three I was most leaning towards next.
Well, I'll give the poll some more time.

I will say, listening to "Into Free" has me pretty hyped to play DD right now (yes, I know they took it out in Dark Arisen...I was rather disappointed when I loaded the game to make sure it worked and got some other intro song)

dunno what it's about but I love Warriors games, especially if you have someone to play with... in fact, mainly if you have someone to play with, they're a bit grindy by yourself. Might wanna go for Shadow of Mordor on your own? I haven't played it but it has good reviews even from Yahtzee and such XD

I know it's reviewed well, I bought the GotY edition. Didn't look into it too much, b/c it was so highly reviewed and b/c my wife loves Lord of the Rings so I figured she'd enjoy watching me play it, too.

But I played for like an hour and a half, and it was just a miserable experience.
I absolutely hate super zoomed in cameras that you can't zoom out, I like being able to see my surroundings. In SoM, your field of view is like 10 ft.
I might be able to get over that on its own, if it weren't for the fact this is also a stealth game. I don't like stealth games. The way I saw it presented, stealth was an option, not a necessity. But it absolutely is a necessity, because without it you just get endlessly dogpiled by more and more orcs faster than you can kill them until you die.
But I can't even be stealthy, b/c the field of view is so tiny.

Is it just a game for people who like "fuck you" levels of difficulty (Yatzee loves his Dark Souls, for example)? I'll try it again at some point...starting over...since the game makes things even harder on you if you fail w/ the enemies leveling up (great game design, there...).
But I imagine it's going to be a very tedious, unfun process of tip toeing around step by step, cover to cover, fighting w/ the camera the whole time to make absolutely sure there's no other orcs around before I finally get to move in and fight for a bit before running back for cover like a coward immediately.
So...why is this game considered so good?

Well, I started HZD.

Any way to change the controls? Focus and Run seem pretty important, and are both tied to pushing in the control sticks, which I prefer not do to whenever possible... Analog sticks are always the first thing to stop working properly for me on a controller. The running is especially annoying since you have to click it while tilting the L stick...

Also wouldn't mind zooming out the camera more, but it seems there's no option for that.
What about a way to auto-aim the camera the direction Aloy is facing? As it is now, fights seem to be rather "circular," but I don't have time to pan the damn camera around, so I basically just have to stab blindly towards the screen in the direction I think the enemy pounced/charged to.

In general, not liking the controls too much so far...

I wish I could help, but it's been so long. Plus, I generally just get use to the controls. They usually pick a good layout for most games. I can adapt quickly...

You could check the remap in the PS4's settings. I imagine L3 and R3 would be included though i dont know off the top of my head. Would need to go toggle it off when youre done with the game or if you play more than one at a time but its an option.
