The next game on my quest to finish all my PS2 games is the PS2 Classics version of CVX on my PS4. Originally I only played this game on Gamecube. I always felt this game had mixed reactions among the fan base (maybe because it was not developed internally by Capcom) and while it's certainly not my favorite I enjoyed getting back into the mode of speedrunning Resident Evil games since all these RE platinums require you to do it. RE games might be my favorite franchise to speed run.

This platinum requires you do the following

- Complete the campaign
- Collect all files
- Finish in under 4 hours
- Obtain an A ranking to unlock the Rocket Launcher which requires a fast time, no saves, no retries, no first aids used and other smaller details like giving the medicine to the guy in the beginning or saving steve from the trap the quickly
- Obtain an A rank with all 5 characters in Battle Mode
- Check out various objects in battle mode with said characters

Speed running was fun and it gives you free save between disk 1 and disk 2 so it's not too crazy. Battle Mode was rough though having to finish each of the 19 rooms under a certain time. Wesker's though was a knife only run (although you can get a magnum for the boss) and I was doing that one for like 2 hours straight trying to get it right.

Glad I was able to knock out another platinum before Dragon Quest XI arrives tomorrow. I'm sure that will take me 3-4 weeks to platinum and 100+ hours. See you all next month!

I only didn't finish this because I need to do the A rank run. I also didn't unlock the secret character in Battle mode so it's only one left I need to A rank. Wasn't too tough otherwise.
