All the systems I ever owned. Actually I had a Virtual Boy for a while but I don't think that counts.

I consider the system I "grew up with" my SNES, got in Christmas of '92 when I was in 6th grade. I never had an NES of my own, but like every friend I had DID, so I played a ton of it at their houses, so I didn't miss out on any of the big NES games.

Had a Sega SG-1000 for a little while, but the one I had since I was about 7 was a Sega Mega Drive. Got one for Christmas in 1991. Played that and Gameboy stuff until we got a PS2.

For the record, any system in the childhood section made before November 2003 but whose official lifespan ended after that date bleeds into the teen section as well.

Childhood: NES, Genesis, N64, Game Boy Color, PS1, Game Boy Advance, GameCube, Xbox

Teen: DS, Wii

And the Xbox 360 just misses the mark since I got that on Christmas of '08 AKA one month after my 18th birthday (I consider ages 13-17 the "teen" years). Also, if "growing up with" doesn't necessarily mean you owned the system then throw the PS2 in the childhood section since I would always play it at my friend's house during visits even though I didn't own one until my early 20s.

What's with the Nazi catchphrase "master race"?

But, yeah, my kids grew up with Atari 2600, Colecovision, Atari 400/800, Commodore 64.

My son was in fourth grade when he came home really excited, they had done graphing x/y coordinates in class: "Mom! It's just like programming screen locations on the Atari!"

NES, SNES, Gameboy, Atari 800XL, and a PC.

Probably had the most games for the NES initially, then eventually the PC took over.

I loved the SNES, but I only ever got about a dozen games for it over the 10 years I had it for. The games were just too expensive for my parents to buy me more then one a year.

The 800XL we only had for about 2 years while my dad was saving up for the PC, but it definitely sparked my interest in programming. Think it came with about 6 games.

I was never a big fan of the gameboy, it ended up being something my uncle got me for Christmas. I think I had 4 games for it, and once I beat them all I just gave it to one of my friends.

Once I got into college and started making my own money the flood gates open. Now I have pretty owned every major system except the 3 XBoxes.

I think captpackrats comment is a variant of The PC Master Race. I for one can't play any video game (other than Star Trek: 25th Anniversary) with a mouse, I need a controller.

WIKI https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PC_Master_Race
The PC Master Race, sometimes referred to by its original phrasing as the Glorious PC Gaming Master Race, is an internet subculture, internet community, and a tongue-in-cheek term of superiority for PC gaming used among gamers to compare PC gaming to console gaming.

If captpackrat starts marching with tiki torches and chanting "the GPUs will not replace us" I might become a tad bit concerned. lol
