The user also refers to point and game penalties like they're the umpire's discretion whether to issue those or just a warning. It isn't. First you get a warning (Serena got one for coaching, her coach has already admitted he coached her during the match Saturday), then you get a point penalty (Serena got one for smashing her racquet. This is universal, no man or woman gets away with it.), and then the game penalty is next (which Serena got for unsportsmanlike conduct). Damn_Underscore 09/10/18 12:14:36 AM #32:	I just watched it again. The coach gave her a thumbs up and she got warned for it. She says that "I know you don't know this but we don't have a code, I wasn't cheating." Okay cool, it should have ended there. Then she loses a game and breaks her racket. She gets a second penalty which = a point penalty. She then has a meltdown because she didn't think she deserved the first penalty. She yells at the umpire, she essentially threatens his career, and she says "you're a thief" which is apparently what caused him to give her a third penalty which = a game penalty. She was losing badly already and only got a warning for coaching, it wouldn't have been a big deal if she managed to behave like a professional and not berate the referee as well as breaking her racket. All her arguments were absolute dogshit and manipulative and it was clear as day that she was just trying to gain sympathy because she knew she had ZERO ground to stand on. "I would never cheat I'm a mother!!" when clearly she did receive coaching and her own fucking coach admitted to it. The nerve on that woman to just tell a bold-faced lie because she knows she's being filmed to try and gain sympathy and making the ref out to be the bad guy.
