She smashed her racket and wouldn't let it go with the ref in the lifeguard tower. She was in tears calling him a thief and demanded to talk to other refs, then complained to them between every round. Then finished with an emotional outburst about how men get to call the tower ref worse things than what she called him. There was nothing calm about it.

I've seen way worse from men and they're praised for it. Andre Agassi was known for it.

And even if the coach did break the rules, which just a stupid rule anyways, if you look at Serena it's easy to tell she couldnt hear him anyways. It wasn't calm, it was a blow up, but well within the confines of what's acceptable behavior from professional athletes. People just like to shit on winners whenever they can.
