There were more, but I would be here all day if I listed them all. Some of these I bought years later because I remembered playing the demo and enjoying it.

Super Smash Bros for 3DS sold me that it was going to be nearly perfect in terms of what they could feasibly do.

Etrian Odyssey IV's demo got me to buy the game. I was hesitant on the EO games because the idea of just one long dungeon didn't really interest me, but EOIV's demo had a sweet overworld and sold me on the idea of smaller dungeons and secrets and stuff.

Mario Golf: World Tour's demo convinced me that it was the same Mario Golf I knew and loved despite lukewarm reviews.

Super Smash Bros 3DS was an awesome demo for sure, I didn't buy it as a result, but I did spend about 5 hours in the demo (just shy of etrian odyssey's time)
