I went down to my parents to make apple cider (soft). it left the apples nearly clear and after a few minutes it turns the golden/amber color you are used to. I just found it interesting.

orange juice has no taste or color when it goes through the process that keeps it from spoiling in the carton

they have to add those things in artificially which is why orange juice doesnt taste like oranges
