Kind of sad to learn that Jackie Chan didnt really enjoy his time making the films. He complained therr was too much talking and not enough action. Hopefully now that hack Brett Ratner is not directing Rush Hour 4 and we can get a decent director to make a good finale for the series.

you know i've heard him say this....yet he still came back 2 times knowing exactly what he was getting back into. i understand he has an action background but i think he enjoyed the movie more than he lets on...

then don't sit in interviews and act like you care so much about the "action" if you're willing to disregard that for a payout. I agree that i think he wishes there was more action in the movies but i don't think that means he hated them. he came back to them. money or not i feel like he enjoyed making this movies.

While Chan may have been all smiles and happy to do the press rounds for the Rush Hour movies, it turns out they are not pictures he regards very highly. I have reasons to do each film, I have something to say. Unlike Rush Hour there was no reason [in making it], you just give me the money and Im fine. I dislike Rush Hour the most, but ironically it sold really well in the U.S. and Europe, the actor said. There is no word yet on this thoughts on 2002s The Tuxedo, but wed guess they probably arent much different.

I guess it was mostly the money that Jackie Chan made the films.

We'll forgive you, their names are similiar. But yeah Chris Tucker got 20-25 million dollars just for his role in RH3 from what I remember. No wonder you don't see him doing many films now, he's pretty much set for life.
