Atari and Sega did classic mini versions of their systems YEARS before Nintendo did the NES Classic. Nobody said Nintendo was copying either of them when they released the NES Classic yet people claim Sony is copying Nintendo with the PS1 Classic.

For whatever reason Nintendo is so good at selling nostalgia that people went NUTS for the NES and SNES mini ( I admit, I got the SNES myself) despite the Atari and Genesis ones not nearly doing as well. Good for Sony for realizing they can do the same. I may grab one, depending on what games it comes with.

Probably because the ps1 classic is a dumb fucking cash grab the PlayStation controller hasn't changed much throughout the years no reason that can't just put the games on the ps4

Nintendo stole it and made it profitable. Sony still stole it from nintendo since now it's making a impactable profit. if sony's box did come out before nintendo... we would have said Sony stole it from those crappy atari boxs, just like what we said about nintendo when they announce theirs. The next guy that makes a electric car we will say they stole the idea of Elon Musk, but GM were making electric cars since the 80s.
