The recut of S4 wasn't terrible, but S5 definitely underwhelmed

I owe it a rewatch though because obviously a big chunk of AD's appeal is its rewatchability, so I wouldn't be doing it a fair chance if I didn't rewatch it.

We only have part 1 so far btw, Season 5 isn't done yet.

For god's sakes, Lindsey looks as old and wrinkly as Lucille did at the start of the series, maybe more so actually. Just let the damn show go, we've gotten 3 pretty good seasons and like with Firefly, have learned that Firefox enjoy canceling great shows with potential. Not sure why we can't just leave it at that.

That was why I liked the original season 4. The format played well into their running jokes and I felt like the format kept it fresher.

Yeah I liked it too, the way they made it work with the limited cast appearances and how the season made sense once you knew the whole story. Felt like classic ad.

Nevertheless, it feels like beating a dead horse especially now.

I watched Season 5..... but I also kinda didn't. I couldn't tell you any of the jokes or really any of the story that happens in it. I can't remember the last time I watched something so forgettable.

First half of season 5 is only 8 episodes and it still couldn't escape Netflix fatigue. AD is not a show that should have episodes longer than 22 minutes

That's how it starts, and it does seem to continue 4's meh plotlines which I wasn't really invested in
