Horror films aren't supposed to scare you, that's just the pointless jump scares they cram into modern horror film these days in place of creating characters you actually care about in the film that you can emphasize with.

I really miss being able to be scared by movies. It was a thrilling feeling. I feel like every feeling but unhappiness gets more and more numbed as the years go by.

I agree. but I do get anxiety. like in the quiet place knowing the she was going to step on the nail gave me anxiety for like 4 scenes until she did.
