I swear to god I'm sick of being called a racist because I'm white and Donald Trump is president (did not vote for the bastard).

I turned on Eddie Griffin's new-ish stand up last night, all he did was talk about "that orange motherfucker" and how racist white people are for voting for him for like 15 minutes straight.

Honestly if Eddie Griffin woulda just ripped on shit Trump does or his looks that woulda been funny but he had to make a 15 minute ordeal on white people needing to get it together and how Obama fixed the country for 8 years (seriously, and it only took trump 8 months to fuck it up).

When you're a rich stand up comedian you don't have to worry about shit like health insurance premiums, health care costs, and the fact the Obama goddamn bombed Libya until we ran out of bombs and now Libya is worse off than Iraq now.

Not saying the Obama is smarter than Trump, no shit, but so far Trump hasn't hit my pockets yet, a single early-30s guy who makes around $35k a year.

I actually am very sick of all the Trump jokes and other politically fueled humor. It has become very overused and stale. Ultimately, we need to just move past Trump for this to happen. Guy needs to get kicked out of office. It's hard not to write jokes about Trump and politics when it is everywhere.

I agree that it's made comedy pretty bad, especially at a lot of local places i go to. I can't tell you how many acts I've seen that boil down to "Donald trump, what an asshole, am I right?"

It wasn't so much white people as it was rural white people in swing states. I live in Minneapolis and we have tons of white people and are an overwhelmingly liberal city in an overwhelmingly blue state. The vast majority of white people out here are very disturbed by Trump.

Don't group all white people in with the type of crowd you'd see in Birmingham, Alabama.

If someone is good enough at stand up to be on TV then they usually are rich. Low end comedians with stand up specials can easily make over six figures. The really good ones can become millionaires off of stand up alone, but generally those guys end up getting TV and movie deals which is where the real money comes in.

Most big name comics tend to have a net worth of a few million give or take. The ones with frequent movie and TV roles make much more than that.

Guys like David Spade are worth around $25 million, Judd Apatow around $90 million, then Adam Sandler is worth close to $300 million.

Smaller end guys like Hannibal Buress and Marc Maron are worth about $2 million each.

I don't give a fuck about people on CE on the weekend calling me a racist or a trump supporter or whatever the fuck. The old school people here are bitter that I made an account bet on my last account that Trump would win in my signature and that I bitched about the ACA fuckin up my money.

The simple fact is that if you're one of those people that spends more than 30 minutes a day worrying about what is going on with rich assholes in DC and that Trump is president then you likely eat that shit up when you watch stand up.

I don't give a fuck about Donald Trump or any of that shit until it DIRECTLY affects my well being, then I do what everyone else should do and I go vote accordingly without making a fuckin circus out of it. But I think it is sad when people like Chris Rock and Eddie Griffin that I used to fuckin love are just overall bitter as fuck in their stand up comedy or they just nonstop talk about politics now.

And Eddie Griffin I'm pretty sure has had a huge drug problem in the past so there is no telling how much he is worth btw. It was Showtime after all not HBO. But I bet he made 6 figures from that special and the touring with that same routine.
