Rolling a 5* WP when I needed more than just Musashi for this entire 12ish day event made me think a lot about how this game is running. Imagine if the only dragon you had was Garuda lol. The 40% HP buff is basically worthless, and considering a lot of other buffs in the game that are measly 5~20% buffs that basically get fucking eclipsed by simply having another damage active at just about all times, missing out on the 40% attack on a dragon is so big. Also the game is so frequently run on a timer, meaning HP can be important to survive some hits, but you'll literally always want more attack or damage over HP. The weird status effect res meta also hurts the game's enjoyability. Oh, I don't have a unit that 100% resists a certain ailment that I basically can't avoid? Well on top of not being able to play the game for 10 seconds or so every time you get hit by it, you also probably lost during that time. On top of that, it basically kills strategizing. Oh wow, you came up with this cool strat to take advantage of breaks and burst windows? But sorry, you don't have a 100% stun res so you can't play because we'll just stun you as soon as you enter the dungeon. What's up with that anyways? That's not exactly good design. You basically only get to use 3 whole freaking characters in the whole game without feeling like you're on a crutch, and one of those characters have lower stats than a 3* because it's the character you started out with. Why does this all matter though? It matters because I want my pulls to mean something. I got pretty lucky in this game, but somehow I also don't really feel all that lucky lol. I'm doing the same grind as everybody else but I'm still getting locked out of a bunch of content, not that there is much to do to begin with. Also the raids can't exactly be auto'd, meaning it's asking like an hour minimum out of everyday to get crucial items to even feel like I can continue playing the game. Also, the stamina system is worthless for this game. We can already somewhat play infinitely due to having a lot of items to refresh stamina, and since it's so hard to earn wyrmites, nobody's gonna want to use them to refresh stamina. All it does it make it impossible to find rooms for 95% of the game, and it doesn't help that everybody wants to spend all their stam doing the challenge mode for this event. Btw, I wanted a challenge mode for Naveed because he's good on a dungeon that lasts a while and has mobs, guess what though, can't use him for this event cuz he's fire!! I don't really see what use Garuda has in this event though, since at best it's just an HP stat stick for your wind healer. Also I'm saying HP doesn't matter because every stage has a timer on it. Doesn't matter if you're healed more if you can't complete the stage to begin with. Personally though, I don't even think change a few mechanics on Bow or Lance is a problem (the only good change is increasing the range on the Lance FS). The problem is the way skills, passives, stats, stamina, and dungeons work, and those didn't even get a single mention in that entire future change thing lol. No mention of taking away stamina, no mention of getting rid of dungeon timers, no mention of skill rebalancing or changing the WP system outside getting rid of the badly designed event WPs. I mean that was a half baked idea to begin with, since they could've easily just tied the event item reward boosts to the facilities They're listening, but I think they're not really thinking about how to change the game for the better themselves. It's like how MUB 4* WPs are as good as a 3.5 UB 5* WP, which is actually terrible considering the way 5* WPs are basically there to prevent you from getting more useful things like characters or dragons. Zephyr's active also stuns and is quite big ranged only because Zephyr himself is pretty massive. That's fine that 4s are usable but couldn't Roc and Zephyr at least fill different shoes? Why are they so samey? Diamantium only. same thing as a 10 pull except instead of a guaranteed 4* you get a guaranteed 5* and depending on what day you pull depends on what you get. Heroes are up first, Wyrmprints second, and Dragons third. I hope you're as excited as I am about that guaranteed 5* Wyrmprint!! Edit: if you want to purchase diamantium, don't buy the Diamantium straight up. The Monthly bundles provide more Diamantium for the money you pay than the Diamantium store and you also get extremely rare items to boot. But sometimes simpler things just work better, like having a better weapon type or just having the right status resistance.
