Battle for Azeroth is a fucking shit show. Blizzard is completely tone deaf to any feedback and bug reporting that has been going on since BFA went into alpha/beta/whatever at the beginning of the year.

I honestly do not think I've been this salty over a game since Diablo 3 on launch.

It's just pretty blatant that it was rushed out. There have been a LOT of bugs, balancing issues, that kind of thing. When M+ was released, for instance, the bonus chest counted if you'd done one in the last week of Legion. So if you'd done a high M+ in Legion, you'd get an absurdly high ilvl piece of gear for that.

A lot of classes/specs feel really bad to play.

Island expeditions are tedious AoE fests.

Warfronts aren't that interesting and were terribly explained. When they were first released, the warfront was under Alliance control. The Horde got a bunch of supply quests where you turn in crafting materials to fill up a bar....except it quickly became obvious that the bar was on a timer and the turn-ins had little-to-no effect. One of the bugs mentioned above was that there was no ilvl requirement on it at first, so Horde characters were able to immediately get 340 ilvl gear from a piss-easy scenario. This was changed after a few days, so Alliance were never able to take advantage of this. It turns out the rares in the warfront area only reset when you faction takes back the warfront rather than daily or weekly. So the timing works out that you can really only do a warfront once a month.

But the top-tier shitshow is the azerite system. Traits are boring and they were/are massively unbalanced. For instance, one of the WW monk azerite traits was nerfed by 400%. That's the most extreme one I've seen, but there are also quite a few that were buffed/nerfed by 100%. The AP system also just feels terrible. When you get a great new piece of gear, the azerite system means it might actually be worse because it doesn't have the right trait or because you straight-up don't have the AP to get that trait on that higher-ilvl piece of gear. Reforging traits is exponentially more expensive, so you're basically forced to carry multiple gear sets if you want multiple roles. And if you happen to be a WW monk who farmed gear to get that OP trait? Well, enjoy farming new gear or paying that reforging fee because we just nerfed the fuck out of your trait with no refund.

And all of this is compounded by the fact that Blizzard got feedback on the azerite and class problems during beta. Massive amounts of feedback. They're getting feedback now. And lately they've just sort of been waving that stuff off.
