The bigger issue that isn't brought up is how blatantly partisan he is being, something that at the very least you'd expect a Supreme Court nominee to have the good decency to hide, and how he's seemingly lied multiple times under oath in his testimony, even if to trivial things from ancient times.

Whether he's guilty or not shouldn't matter at this point. The way he acted during the hearing last week should be enough to deny his confirmation.

It's scary to think some of these very same people could decide our fate on a jury. ...That they would have such little standard of a person's innocence, that as soon as a witness testified something...they would believe it like the word of God.

Basically, these days: It's a coin flip if you ever find yourself being tried by a jury of your peers. There won't be any due process.

I dunno, I guess you'd call it "presentation" then? The fact that the FBI was even brought up at all for the events of, again, a teenage beer party from 30 years ago, should count for something. It only seems to really not be a trial, based on a few legal technicalities.

Why are you avoiding the obvious shotty testimoy of Ford which was what the entire basis for your argument was just last week?

The way I see it is there's at best a 33% chance that Ford's testimony was true. And I'll make the case for why that's logically correct.

There's 3 possibilities for what happened with her testimony.

1. She's completely telling the truth and Kavanaugh did attack her.

2. She's straight up lying and none of it's true. Which I think is the least likely scenario imo.

3. And which I think based off of the evidence and of what human psychology teaches us about memory, is that she was attacked but she ascribed the attack to Kavanaugh at later time, even though it wasn't him.

Either way 2 of the 3 scenarios point to her being completely wrong and her testimoy being false.

So, we're supposed to deny the confirmation of a Supreme Court Justice based off of a man under intense pressure and being accused of sexual assault likely falsely because he lost his temper a little bit under that intense pressure?

GTFO. There is nobody here that would have done a better job in that situation than he did.

Ultimately, it's very unlikely the FBI will be able to uncover that much, if any, actual objective evidence that it happened.

Which is why we've already seen the arguments such as:

1. "We all know he's guilty"

and

2. "This is a job interview, not a trial, and we don't want even a POSSIBLE rapist on the SC"

and

3. "The investigation is rigged so it doesn't count"

If you were only going to accept one possible outcome of an investigation, don't ask for one.
