Sometimes, having the right perspective makes all the difference. That was the case for MKN's new first-person shooter Purple Heart which released last Tuesday to an abysmal 1.4 average reviewer score last Tuesday, but yesterday saw reviewers update their scores for 8's, 9's and even 10's after popular youtuber DeathSlayer993015413 noted that its aforementioned flaws were intentional.

"It's supposed to (...) frustrate you. That's the (...) point. The (...) developers were painting (...) a picture of (...) frustration to (...) form a deeper (...) bond between the (...) player and the (....) character."*

Many players agreed, it seems, and have decided that this decision by MKN was excellent artistry.

Previously, Purple Heart players had criticed the game for its shoddy controls and lackluster graphics. But the main concern was the game's tendency to feedback through the power outlet and control other appliances in the household, causing them to rise up in rebellion against the residents of the home. Since the game's release last week, there have been 35 recorded deaths, 682 recorded injuries and almost 95,000 evictions.

But not everyone "gets" the artistry presented through this game design. One youtube commentor said

"Are we crazy? Have we gone crazy? These developers need to be in jail. Holy crap guys. BEING INTENTIONAL DOES NOT MAKE IT GOOD. IT JUST MAKES IT INTENTIONALLY BAD."

Correspondents have advised that this may be a troll post.

You know, I just knew something was up with this game. Maybe I'll pick up a copy later to try it out.
