D4 incoming, bitches

They figured a lot out in Reaper of Souls gameplay-wise that salvaged D3, but Im hoping Sanctuary is more grim this time around. Less vegetables bad, meat good!, more LOOKING FOR BAAL? pls

Hopefully "Legendary" items feel actually legendary and that set items don't dictate everything so much with their absurd damage multipliers

Only that and a return to static difficulties would make me happy with it

A better matchmaking system than D3 would be good too. Add in a range of difficulties to join if you're gonna include 150 difficulty and match type options.

I played the hell out of D3 when it first came out, up until I hit a wall in Inferno difficulty. Back then, you had to play each difficulty level all the way through, in order (no skipping) and the final difficulty level straight-up item-checked you in Act II. Drops were pitiful and the real-money auction house was just... icky.

Fast-forward to earlier this year: I picked up the expansion and booted the game back up... it's unrecognizable from the launch version. They improved D3 by leaps and bounds in the time I had it sitting on my shelf.

I'm ready for D4.

BKSheikah owned me so thoroughly in the 2017 guru contest, I'd swear he used the Lens of Truth to pick his bracket. (thengamer.com/guru)

Yeah, Reaper of Souls truly revitalized a fun enough but significantly flawed game into a great time that Im happily double dipping on for Switch.

That said, a clean slate could be great for the franchise.
