This gap between appearances was not entirely unprecedented - one other character has had a gap of 12 contests between appearances. Lenne's return was definitely the more successful one, though, as she managed to blow away her previous best percentage while reaching the top half for the first time. Lenne climbs from 23.18% to 28.99%, jumping six spots to 101st and (temporarily) pushing Wakka into the bottom ten.

The way he phrases it means Wakka's current position is directly behind Lenne, and he will pass her back once his run is over this year so she will again be bottom 10, according to lefty at least. 102nd is not in the bottom 10 of 114 either though so I'm not sure.

Well it doesn't necessarily mean Wakka is directly behind Lenne. Just that Wakka is in the bottom 10 now. Multiples were passed as said. He was probably specifically brought up to build drama for his impending triumphant return.

But who knows I don't exactly have a database of stats to refer to to fact check any of that so I don't know really know where the heck Lenne is in the stats.

I've used the shoo-in thing before. It'll probably never happen; well, obviously, even if he did return it would take multiple contests to crawl out of the bottom 10 I'm guessing. What is the lowest placement he could finish and leave the bottom overall spot?
