I was the original wave of South Park, Futurama, Family Guy (on Fox, not Cartoon Network), etc. The only shows like that which remained consistently funny throughout the series were Futurama and King of the Hill. The Simpsons, Family Guy, and South Park used to be comedic gold, but not anymore. Family Guy stopped being funny right around when American Dad was out and the it was the same time period that The Simpsons started to be forced and not funny.
