The first one is a colossal NO regarding online safety and security. Well, that depends. A longer password that follows the basic rules that most site have of 2 uppercase, 2 lowercase, 2 numbers, and 2 symbols might work for most. If you go to a site that has extra rules, then see if you can follow the basic sets and that set, as well... There's also the possibility that you could have made the accounts long ago. Most sites that didn't have strict password requirements before don't make you change it even if the rules have changed.
