In the NFL you can't sneeze on the QB without drawing a fucking flag now.

In the WWE you can't even pretend to hit a guy with a chair (even shit talking is 100% scripted).

In the UFC? They wear little tiny gloves and bash each others heads in? Why is that ok? Because if you think about it, the ones that get hit the most, don't get to stay in the UFC. They get released into Gen Pop, where they're deranged and trained to violently kill you if you fart the wrong way.

Yes, it's called the ref stopping the fight.

After a nice concussion. Then they let them fight again.

Well, once the fight is over they don't fight again. Unless you're talking about fighting 3 months later. Like in the NFL how if a guy can't pass concussion protocol he doesn't play until he's ready.

Yeah in the UFC, these guys get their faces punched in for at least 10 seconds straight sometimes. If they can stand up they keep going. But yesss they do move on to fight at the next UFC and still get their heads slammed by fists.

I think it will be more evident in maybe 10 years when the effects of these blows show up when you try to interview these old UFC guys. They're going to sit there drooling going "I did punch event and cage!"

lol if anything they should be interviewing the guys who were in the ufc in the old school days. no gloves, no rules, no weight classes. Now that you mention it, ken shamrock does seem pretty f***ed up.

Yep. And honestly by the time they catch up todays shit, the people in charge will have already made boat loads of money while they sit back and let the people that made them money suffer with severe brain damage.

I'm just saying it's happening and you just don't see it quite yet. Also, I don't really care personally, I just thought it was interesting to compare it to the NFL and WWE who have already faced lawsuits on this shit. UFC should be right around the corner.

Henderson knocking out bisping cold and then standing over him before unloading a flying punch to the chin was a great example of a late stoppage potentially giving a guy brain damage.

Good point. It's sometimes comes down to bypassing a concussion altogether and just straight up giving a guy brain damage forever with one nasty laid out punch. Which these fuckers are all well trained to do.

But that's actually rare, usually they get stopped before that. Boxing is actually worse for brain damage than ufc.
