River City Ransom, SMB3, and Ice Hockey are the only ones worth playing someone in/with.
Tecmo Bowl is inexcusable. We all know the game didn't get really good until Tecmo SUPER Bowl. Tecmo Bowl is too aged. Automatic picks on coverage is stupid as fuck. And coming from a guy who has played probably MONTHS of Tecmo...the looseness of the players in the original isn't quite the same.
