A few of my suggestions for fixing global warming would be moderated.

A lot of your suggestions would be anti-white and anti-straight male

Well, the world will still be here, just not organized society.

I imagine the rich will do fine with resources to maintain their private armies to keep the starving commoners away.

Global warming won't end the world, but it will probably make things significantly worse, especially if you live somewhere poor or vulnerable to the changing weather.

It's also good to understand that global warmings effects occur slowly. So even if we put enough carbon into the atmosphere to raise the temperature by two degrees, that increase is going to occur over the course of decades, and then the effects of that increase (ice sheet melting) will take even longer.

This basically means things are already worse than most people understand. If we stopped all emissions right now the temperature would still go up.

Assuming this is completely true...whatever. I'll be dead before things go to shit and I have no kids. RIP environment.

This kind of thinking is what got us into this mess.

Which is a good reason to continue ruining the planet how?

Currently it is what Trump's EPA is stating and you are implying. Stopping isn't going to fix it, so why stop?

He is not implying that. He is saying that the problem is even worse than most assume, and this is additional reason for acting to change it.

Because we can make it better?

It's good to have a nuanced view on the subject.

The climate is going to get worse regardless.

Countering that requires investment in alternative energy sources to limit damage, as well as technologies to adapt to a changing world.
