There are some nations like Algeria that flat out ban women from joining Swat teams. Then there are other nations like America where women are allowed to join but the physical and mental standards are so high, it's very rare to do so and it's only once in a blue moon that a female woman is on a Swat Team like this chick:



That being said it is not uncommon for females tobe negoicators or cordinators that work closely with swat teams. Just staying out of the physical side.

Some nations however flat out intentionally have all-female Swat teams because they believe they can be better in certain situations than male ones. Such as India where their all-female Swat team is specifically designed to protect the Prime Minister and handle Urban Terrorism, and has been rated as superior and more skilled than the male Swat teams due to their unmatched intense standards and training:



In China they do the same thing and one of the female Swat team members won a competition for the most attractive police officer in the country:




Which leads to an interesting pondering point.

Why do some nations not want it at all period?
Why do some nations allow it but not really care?
And why do some nations not only want it, but demand it and create one claiming it beneficial?

Do you think an All-Female Swat team would be useful to your nation? If so why?
If not, do you think a female who meets the standards should be allowed into a male Swat Team? If so why?

If urban terrorists took over a building and were holding your loved ones and dog hostage, would be as comfortable with a female swat team (or at least female members of one) coming to their aid as you would with a male one? If so why?

No. The door isnt going to lower its structural integrity just because youre a woman. The fleeing felons arent going run slower because youre a woman. If you want to do the job, thats fine, but youre going to be held to the same physical standards as the men.

tbf there are two different kinds of physical standards
the first are job requirements. you need to be able to carry a certain weight for a certain amount of distance, knock down a door in a certain amount of time, etc.
but then there are the kinds to show you're in shape. if the top 20% of men can do 45 pushups in a minutes and the top 20% of women can do 35 pushups in a minute, then we only need the top 20% of either

I guess it depends how much is physical work and how much is tactical work/team work/etc. There should be no issue on the tactical part on men vs women, but it's more of a "men's job" if there is a high physical element requiring core body strength and physical strength. Very few women are going to pass that bar unless they're bulky as hell.

Yeah, but the threat to masculinity! Never let women be protectors or else being a protector is something anyone can do.

I would prefer most capable. Not most capable of X demographic, Y demographic, Z demographic.

45 push ups in a minute is nowhere near the top 20%. If you can't do 45 in a minute you're just out of shape.

But no we shouldn't lower it to top 20% of females it should be 1 standard for males and females. Same way the army is moving to a gender and age neutral pt test that instead scores off of your job in the army

Tactical assaults arent something you need a penis for.

Guns and training, yeah you kinda need those, a penis? No... you dont.... you dont really need extreme upper body strength either, in fact being on the smaller end is really useful I imagine from a taking cover perspective.
