Additionally, I dont think I should have to pay taxes for things I do not use. Why should I pay for healthcare insurance when I havent been to the doctor in five years? It makes no sense. If I got sick, I would pay for my own treatment. If I am healthy, I should be able to keep my money. Its bullshit. MY money goes to someone else and their money goes to someone else and their money goes to someone else and... As someone who recently spent several months quite sick and going through the healthcare system in Canada, I find that I definitely don't mind paying a little more so I don't have to deal with the headache of medical bills and shit.
