Black Ciri was the conspiracy theory

Theyd have to make Emhyr (her dad) black but idk why they couldnt have done that. So some story reasons but mostly just impotent nerd rage.

i think it would be kind of a weird look to have a multi-cultural cast that all the characters are cool with, but then have the brutal & tribal world of the witcher.

i feel like the only ways to make a cast of different races work would be to incorporate racism into the story and then that's opening a whole new can of worms

It's more of a "Polish people created this based on Slavic myth, which is where Poland gets a lot of its cultural roots" which is fine I guess.

Ciri grows up over the series.

From being in mommy's uteruses to being roughly 17 at the end of it.

So this is far too old for adapting the whole series.

Although some scenes like the female bandit rape one will have less people freaked out if she's over 18.

But still seems like we have no ethnic polls, and they are race changing some of the Sorcereress of course.
