Point stands that thinking someones opinion is dumb is not unreasonable depending on what were talking about.

Hell, if a liberal person said something like all men should be presumed guilty in rape accusations unless they have an alibi, I would say that is an incredibly fucking dumb opinion.

No one says Kanye shouldnt share his opinions or isnt allowed to have them, they just think those opinions are dumb.

How is this hard to follow

His opinions are dumb because you don't agree with them, right?

...yes, thats typically how disagreeing works

Nah, thats not how it typically works. Typically when mature adults disagree with each other they dont automatically presume the other persons opinion is dumb. But maybe thats just me.

Okay... unless the opinion is that we should no longer outlaw slavery

Did Kanye say we should outlaw slavery? I recall he said to abolish the 13 amendment. But I dont see how that means outlawing slavery, modern interpretation of the original Bill of Rights is already to enough to make slavery outlawed.

What is the purpose of abolishing the 13th, if not to undo its singular purpose?

Because it makes slavery by the state still legal as punishment for breaking the law. I dont believe in a punitive justice system like that, it leads to more harm than good. I believe in a rehabilitative justice system, and the 13th amendment prevents that.

IX is the only one that would and it doesn't explicitly. You could argue IX doesn't protect non-citizens.

Also Democrats: "TSwizzle supports the left! Like and share if you agree with him!"

yawn

Except Democrats don't say shit like this, while Republicans do. Constantly.

P.S. If you're going to hack up my post, don't half-ass it. TSwizzle ain't no "him."

Kanye West expresses his political beliefs = douchebag

Never change, liberals, never change.

So to be clear, you believe if person A does something, and then person B does the same thing, they should be recognized the exact same way? Can I quote you on this metric?

If they do the exact same thing like expressing their opinions? Why wouldnt you recognize someone the same way for that? Just because I agree with Taylors opinions more than Kanyes doesnt mean Im going to recognize her opinions differently, that would be disingenuous. The only reason I see people would recognize Kanye differently than Taylor about being vocal about his opinions is because they have prejudice toward Kanye because of his race.

Ok thanks for confirming your position, I'll screen shot this for future reference.

Cool, but would you mind clarifying your own position? Do you think one of them should be recognized differently for the way they expressed their opinion? If so, why, did either Kanye or Taylor express their opinions in an obnoxious or animalistic way or something?

Let's see, one can vocalize their opinion clearly and coherently. One is rather humble, while the other is arrogant and narcissistic. One admits to not taking their Bipolar medication, so who knows what level of mania they're on.

There are plenty of other good targets to pick on besides Taylor Swift on the left that say their opinion recklessly, like Lena Dunham.

Hmm can you point to me anything one of them said that was obnoxious in anyway? Both sounds respectful imo, and as long as someone expresses their opinion in respect to others, I dont personally see why we should recognize their opinions differently. Just because someone is not that articulate isnt a reason to recognize their opinion differently than others.
