None of the dungeons are particularly challenging. Including Hyrule Castle. I accidentally stumbled upon ~~Ganon~~ while looking around the castle for armor and weapons. I figured there would have been a good bit of puzzling involved instead of just walking into it. The game is so shallow. It tried to be so many things at once, that it stretched itself too thin and every part of the experience feels like it's barely enough to justify that part of the game.The game tried to keep a balance where you would have a fighting chance in each area no matter what order you went to them in, meaning that as you progressed, the areas would get easier and easier no matter what order you took, as you got better weapons, armor, food and understanding of the mechanics. I don't think it maintains the reward for exploration for as long as it should, because of a lack of variety in things to find. And it goes beyond Bokoblins and Moblins making up two thirds of your combat in the game. After a while, all you're discovering is another Dragon, another Labyrinth, etc. The surprises don't really last. There's only one village that the main plot doesn't directly lead you to and there's nothing memorable about it. The combat was horrible when compared to other Action RPGs (some even 10-20 years older).
