I've seen this film about 20 times, and never understood this.
When they fly into Saigon, and there's that building with the massive picture of Elliot Carver on it, and Bond says something like "If I didn't know better, I'd say he's developing an Oedipus complex". An Oedipus complex is when you fall in love with your own mother. Shouldn't he have said a Narcissus complex? --- Sunhawk's main alternate account. It was actually a picture of Elliot Carver's mom. Its just the side he got his looks from.

The original line was "This guy looks like a mother fucker."
