Vertania 10/14/18 6:24:47 PM #1:	I've never actually played Mass Effect 3, so this will be my attempt at finally finishing the series. I played ME1 to death in its first couple years, getting every achievement in the game. Played ME2 once for the story, then rushed through it a few times on the harder difficulties to clean up the achievements. ME2 made me lose a lot of interest in the series, due to the directions it took with a lot of story elements and the scaling back of its RPG elements (leveling, inventory, exploration). When ME3 rolled around, I tried multiple times to start a new game in ME1, intending to import the saves as I went, but always got bored in ME1 and quit early. The loss of interest from ME2 and the shitstorm surrounding ME3's ending always added to me disinterest too. Vertania 10/14/18 6:30:28 PM #3:	Spent more time than I'd care to admit working on my Shepard's face: I always try to make him look as much like myself as possible, but I kind of forgot how limited the selection is in this game. Seemed good for the time, but he always looks like a damn goofy chipmunk when he walks onto the bridge with Joker in the first cinematic. Went straight up soldier with Electronics as my bonus perk. Kind of boring, but I just can't pass up the ability to take heavy armor. The passive shield boost from Electronics makes him even more OP, plus it saves me from having to carry a tech squad made at all times (even though I usually do anyway). <cite>Vertania posted [p:910528474] in Mass Effec... The first topic hit 500 posts, and the second thread hit somewhere around 300. I ended up running out of steam and not fucking caring, but it was a good set of threads and it was a good CE experience. I hope this thread ends up like that one, because users coming together and shitposting for a common cause is a beautiful thing. --- I still hear trains at night, when the wind is right. But really, he's this stupid fucking dumbass that gets his team mates killed all the time, and only survives by sheer luck - he doesn't even realise how close he comes to death most of the time. Definitely gonna have Kaiden specialize in Medicine, Tali specialize in Hacking, and Liara focus on Singularity. Not sure about the others yet. I'm not worried about achievements, so I'll switch them up depending on the planet. I almost always go rescue Liara first and bring her with me to Noveria. I'm also like 90% sure I'm going to ~~let Ashley die~~. Not because I particularly dislike her or like Kaiden, but because ~~it seems like she made the decision to sacrifice herself for the mission. I'm not worried much about maxing damage in ME1. As much as I love the game, the actual combat was never a strong point imo. Just want to coast through it this time. Class made a huge difference in ME2 on the harder difficulties though, so I'll look into changing it when I get there. I made the mistake of picking Soldier for my first and only playthrough of it. I had to have Liara in my squad at all times just because I had so much fun abusing Singularity. We just found out how to get the nudity DLC too and spent a good chunk of time just dicking around. Despite the piss-poor performance on consoles (especially online), Conan Exiles is probably my favorite console release of the year.
