As someone who has memorized 2000~ Kanji, my memory is fine and I've developed some pretty good methods to not forget anything I deem important.

Not that I rely TOO hard on these when remembering Kanji (the words help more than anything else tbh) but mnemonics/visual memory is a powerful tool. While not everyone has a photographic memory, nearly everyone CAN tap into the things that make photographic memory work.

If you can remember your friends' names when you see their faces, you can do the same with Kanji or literally anything else.

It's a mobile notepad so instead of constantly telling myself something as a reminder for later, I jot it down once and then don't need to remember it.
