No Hillary shouldn't run again, no Sanders shouldn't run again. Please don't put Warren up. For the love of god don't run Avenati (Daniels lawyer probably spelled his name wrong). And for the last time, NO FUCKING CELEBRITIES. Just run Biden, prep him well, and let him wreck trump. If Biden would have just run in 2016 we would have president Biden right now instead of the orange goof.

I dont know if hes made a public statement, but his son died in 2015. Id also imagine that he didnt want to challenge Hillary, who was probably cashing in on favors.

I gotta say, he's probably one of their most likely candidates to actually beat Trump. He also doesn't appear to be overly-extreme, so he'll draw in a lot of swing voters, especially with Trump as the other choice. It wouldn't be a bad move on their part at all.

I just like to see people worked up about the status quo express themselves at the polls.

Anyways I disagree with you. I want to see something that will actually be able to rally the base and get people excited. I don't think some old fart is going to do that, as harsh as that is to say.

At this point, Hillary would probably lose to a literal piece of shit. And I mean "literal" in the literal sense.

After all, if your options are between a literal piece of shit and a metaphorical one, you're gonna take the former because at least it's not faking it.

He's also a conservative/represents old ways of thinking and the struggle to retain the old way of life in an increasingly socially progressive world- so being an old fart kind of fits that more.

I just want to see energy. I will admit Bernie could get that energy even with his age, but I just want to see younger politicians that aren't going to croak after a few years.

If Biden was to win the nomination, a long shot still, he absolutely is prime to be someone that would absolutely lose to Trump. His history of being all touchy feely with women, and especially younger girls, while I don't think was anything inappropiate, is the type of shit that the right trolls online will love to run with. "Creepy Uncle Joe", etc.

Then you have to factor in his shit with the Anita Hill hearing, his own support for stronger law enforcement policies, him being just another DINO to a lot of the Democratic base, and you're looking at someone who would be in a dog fight with Trump. I think he would win PA back, simply because being from there and as someone from the same area I can promise you he's still fairly liked, but I'm not sure about the rest of the Rust Belt and I'm especially hesitate about his chances in the South West and places like Florida.

If he wants to run for the nomination then go ahead, but I think he'd struggle to even win that. He'd be "more of the same" from a party, and really a country, that has craved something different from both sides of the aisle since like, the mid 2000s.

I get what you're saying, but I think name recognition is incredibly important too, and who other than Biden, Sanders, and Clinton have that? I think Biden would be more of the same, but I think people are looking for something predictable after Trump's term.

I'm completely shocked that you haven't seen the video splices put together of all the time of "creepy" Biden moments. I'm not one who thinks Joe is that way at all, but he's literally the prime candidate for the idiotic online right to meme to death.

I don't know. Dems need to put in a candidate doesn't cater to socialists and SJWs. They're a loud minority and they make up a small percentage of the voting base.

If the Dems really want win, they need to stop with the identity politics. Start focusing on fixing issues instead of running on outrage. Trump promised to improve trade, fix illegal immigration, North Korea, the economy and he's followed through on a lot of it.

Dems will lose again if their plan is to raise taxes to support their socialist agenda.

Disagree entirely. Obama beat Hillary and eventually McCain in 08 by being "an outsider". It took the full weight of the GOP establishment crushing Ron Paul to ensure Romney was the nominee in 2012 for the Republicans. And we all know what happened in 2016 between not only Trump but the push back from the left to Clinton with Sanders. Since roughly 2006 this country has craved an outsider to come in and "shake things up" with the government as a whole. There's a reason why Congressional approval is so low. And Joe Biden in 2020 would absolutely be "more of the same" and likely face a loss to Trump.

I do think that if he seriously would have ran in 2016 that he could have won the nomination, as I do think he ciphers off a lot of Hillary voters early and the push back against him wouldn't have been as strong as it was to Hillary, especially from the "Bernie or Bust" crowd. But due to Beau's death, and because Biden likely thought there was no way Trump was winning, he decided not to run.

As for 2020, the Democrats need to have basically a large primary field where people just go until whomever is left standing wins the nomination. If Sanders runs he's absolutely the nominee. If not then whomever he endorses is going to do extremely well.

Who cares? Any politician that becomes President is just gonna be the same old shit, regardless if they say they're here to shake things up or not.

It's all bullshit, your votes don't really matter and America will never change. People just want some person they like to rally behind, when in reality that person doesn't give a shit about you or America whether they're Democrat, Republican or whatever.
