I love the AR34. It's basically the same power as the K7 Avenger (like double the dragon I believe) and the scope while moving is great for hitting far moving targets while being able to move as well

Can I just say this really annoyed me about the game? Not that it happened, I thought it was an interesting touch, but what ruined it for me was having it carry through after you died. That seemed almost like a bug to me, because why would they make you suffer that punishment after already facing the punishment of death? It kind of ruined doing all punch/knife/tranq modes since you basically never recovered.

The 360 remake fixed this problem thankfully.

God I miss this game so much. I need to buy a couple 360 controllers so I can play it again.

Yeah, but they are now called neutron bombs on screen instead of n-bombs. Weapon ruined.

Anyone else play a bunch of poison throwing knife only games with friends? It was a fun tactic to chuck knives at corpses and poison people on respawn.

I hated the game breaking bugs PD had, you'd never find them mentioned in reviews. And the fact no regular throwing knives existed.

Also the dizzy state didn't go away when you died, that sucked except when you trying to screw up the simulants in some challenges.

But the game itself was great. It had solo MP, and at the time, before the speedrunners got it down to a science, I was 10 seconds behind WR in Mr Blonde Agent.

Both are great. AR34 is the best assault rifle primary fire in the game IIRC. On normal mode the Callisto is whatever, but the secondary mode is a cool idea.

The Dragon (standard) is probably my favorite weapon in the game, although I also like the Cyclone, remote mines, and Superdragon.

But I found that random six can be loads of fun with the right group. You can get some really fun or really ridiculous setups.

What do you think of the K7 Avenger, AR34 and the Callisto NTG?

K7 Avenger is a monster, with higher damage than most automatics and a very nifty threat detector. The 25 round magazine balances it out, so it usually ends up being a "clip per customer" kind of gun.

AR34 is also a powerhouse, dealing the same damage as the K7. ROF seems a bit slower than the K7, but I feel like I can engage multiple targets easier with the AR34. The secondary fire mode works a lot better on the XBLA version since you can toggle the zoom instead of holding B.

SIDE NOTE: Joanna Dark in her evening dress armed with an AR34 is quite stunning.

Callisto NTG is neat. Primary fire is nothing remarkable, but high impact shells deal the same damage as the standatd 357 magnum! The high damage makes it a fun weapon to use, plus you can go for longer stretches without needing to reload.
