Because the lenses are 100% clean and scratch free for perhaps the only time.

though my last pair of glasses were broken so I think I need some time to adjust, my eyes keep noticing the half a mm area where my lens didnt fit in properly before that just isnt there now.

I think being able to see perfectly without glasses would be the best feeling

I always wondered what people did before glasses or their archaic counterparts were made(IDK, those one lens things stereotypical of opera goers). Just suffer seeing everything look like a monet painting all day? cant see shit three ft in front of your face unless its as big as a jet liner?

Kinda opposite for me. When I'm too accustomed to a frame after wearing them for 5+ years, it feels really weird to wear a new frame. That being said, the feeling of not seeing those close up scratches is awesome.

Besides the cost, dunno why I never thought about Lasik since wearing glasses is cumbersome a few times. I use to not wear glasses while jogging and it was a bit risky at night to do even if I'm on the sidewalk.

I cant get lasik really but I also like glasses. Im so used to them I feel like I look like an ogre without em on.

I had Lasik. Amazing feeling to wake up and realize you are not wearing glasses. Even better when you don't realize right away go take a shower and can see the fogged up mirror without everything else fogging up.

Cost really isn't too bad when you consider the cost of glasses over the next 30-50 years.
