ok so while this is an awesome twist, I also kind of had the feeling it was coming

the shot put ball obviously fell from above, and the only way it could've done that is if it came through the vent, and Kaede was also the only one with access to the vent AND had a reason to kill who she thought was the mastermind

Kaede's easily the best Trial 1 killer by a mile though

It's hard to do without giving away too much. Besides, your hope fragments don't carry over to Shuichi. He starts fresh. You'll have plenty of time to hang out with people later. The game makes up for it.

so the twist with Kaede was cool, but man that was like the easiest mystery in the series. Kind of killed the surprise. The only other people it presented as possibilities were Gonta and Shuichi and they were so farfetched it was impossible to take them seriously.

Also Kaede made some BIG assumptions with that murder trap, it's surprising it actually managed to work. I feel like Rantaro will still be important eventually though, seeing as we still don't know anything about him.

The end shot with the 16 grave-looking things was weird

On the casino rewards exchange make sure you hit L1 and R1 to look at different tabs. That's the only place to get certain abilities (for trials), and most of the "dress up" menus. As for the presents you can get at the casino, they are used the same way as normal presents EXCEPT for one - The Love Key. That love key will get you a special scene with a random person each night. (You have to spend one every time you want to do it though)

There are trial skills to buy with the casino coins. Otherwise it's mostly just completion.

The Love Key does a thing, but it's ultimately just another form of completion. The rest of the gifts are pretty much just normal gifts, but everything there you can only get from there.

I don't think themes matter at all even for completion.

It also give you higher difficulties for the mini-games with higher wagers and higher payoffs as you progress, so if you do go down that rabbit hole you should mostly put it off until then. Slots don't change, though.

Love Keys are worth it.
Also getting the coins get way easier with the harder difficulty games. I especially like the mining game, I could play that game for hours.
