Riku holds a narrow 62-61 lead over Bayonetta in their round 1 match, but Bayonetta has 46 gurus taking her to win in round 2 to Riku's 43 (Sans has 30). I hope this holds up when all brackets are input (It was actually 62-60 when I first started writing this but another bracket was input). I've been waiting for a time where a match is so close that someone who's the underdog in one round actually gets the plurality in the next round because a greater percentage of the brackets that did take them that round had them advancing again. --- "Someday I'll catch up, and then you'll all be surprised!" Alucard - 84 (52.50%) Yuna - 68 (42.50%) Princess Peach - 7 (4.38%) BOP had Final Fantasy faith but the Gurus know better (or DO they?), making Alucard the official 2nd round favorite. Ness - 71 (44.38%) 2B - 70 (43.75%) Shadow the Hedgehog - 18 (11.25%) Tight as could be but ultimately the Gurus are siding with the Smash Superkid over the Sexy Simulant in their Second Series Showdown. Mario - 78 (48.75%) Solid Snake - 67 (41.88%) It's close but the Gurus are flipping the script and taking Mario over Snake heads up in their destined dual in the Legends Bracket. Solid Snake - 63 (39.38%) Mario - 56 (35.00%) ...as a result, more people have Snake appearing in the Loser's R4 match, where he's expected to win. Basically the BOP thought Snake > Mario > Samus, while the Gurus are going Mario > Snake > Samus. Cloud Strife - 56 (35.00%) Solid Snake - 38 (23.75%) Mario - 30 (18.75%) And we're also giving Cloud more respect. This is for Loser's Round Five and it's a bit tricky to explain. Basically we think Cloud clobbers Mega Man or Crono and also edges the weakest two people out of the Mario/Snake/Samus triforce. HOWEVER almost everyone agrees Cloud will lose cleanly to whichever of those three is strongest and thus meets him in Loser's Finals.
