For a while, I had Sully over Aya and DK over Tidus, before chickening out of the "upset picks".

Very glad I did the former. Feeling... okay about the latter, since Tidus has a sweet night vote, but I'm far from confident. Especially since DK's match pic is absolutely killer.

Do things still need to be added to the stats pages? Like how many people have what amount of points, and percentile? Also, unless I'm not seeing it, the personal bracket page doesn't show total score. Easy to count at this point, but later on it will obviously be a bit harder.

The contest stats page shows user votes, total votes, and picks.

Nice information on that page. Not that it really mattered, since I had figured out another method to obtain the raw vote totals (before any bonus is applied) and use it to figure out the number of registered user votes.

Also, we had a total of 7221 brackets submitted for this contest. Ouch.

Despite all of the effort that Allen put into promoting this contest (a banner on pretty much every page of the site, and a yellow site alert for roughly the last 24 hours of the entry period), we end up with a career low in brackets submitted.

Yu is more popular in Japan apparently (so far). Makes sense.

But so is Victor.

The closer we got to the match, the better I felt about Aya. I just didn't see any reason for Sully to win unless he had a massive bracket advantage, and with only 7221 brackets this year, it probably wouldn't matter anyway.

I never feel confident in Tidus regardless of how much I crow.

He probably just needs to keep the damage to a minimum for the first couple of hours because he should be able to cut once we hit the deep night vote.

Um.. what. I am a huge fan of both Persona 4 and FF9, if you don't think those two games share a VERY similar fanbase you're just wrong.

Looks like we've already stabilized.

It's hard to tell if Nintendo still has a legit POWER HOUR with the match time being different. I guess that's Tidus's best hope, that DK will just start falling off once the first hour's over.
