I feel like shit for most of the "day" hours. No matter what amount of sleep I get I feel like shit while it is light out. Yet when it is dark I have a lot more energy. Been like this my whole life... Is this an odd thing...?

I'm the same. My doctor's always saying it's just that my circadian rhythm is all screwed up, but I've been on melatonin supplements for over a year now, and I've had my sleeping pattern under control for about that time too. I'm going to sleep at around 9-10PM every night, waking up in the morning, but I still feel super tired during the day and wide awake at night.
So I'm gonna go with yes. --- Son of a submariner! ... Copied to Clipboard!

Can relate, TC and second poster.
I can get a great night's sleep, wake up at 9am, and still not feel fully awake until 3pm. Yet even nights where I SHOULD be tired, I don't really get sleepy until 3am onwards. I've taken melatonin on and off, and it works pretty well for getting me sleepy, but doesn't actually make me feel much better rested the next day. ProfessorKukui posted... No, not weird. Nice!
