I'm not sure if I'm more upset that a Yu-Gi-Oh card was posted, or that Aether Raids have an even more exploitative version of the Duel Skills less than one month after they came out.

Think I'm going back to zero effort mode. Aether Raids got me interested in the game again a bit but nope.

Even if you've given up on rank, it's still a good idea to try to reach as high a tier as you can before parking. It's fairly trivial to maintain a Tier once you've reached it so when you are satisfied you don't need to try anymore.

Looks like the new weapons are basically just straight upgrades, with Ogma's and Catria's still unknown. Was hoping they could be a little more creative, so we'll see what the refines look like. MRobin definitely appreciates the power boost and just in time as I'm merging him up

I've been using Ophelia and Owain to do the story since my copies were low level and they're on the banner so it's in theme. So I'm playing it and it got me thinking this stupid hardcore chuu2 death metal crew vs Ophelia and Owain would be so funny. Real shame we have Alfonse and Sharena instead.

Enemies are already better than the first two books just for the absurdity of them though. But damn this story would be so good with Ophelia and Owain with just complete wall to wall ridiculousness on both sides. But trying to treat these bads seriously isn't the best. Oh well. :(

Yeah this game is veering in a very offputting direction with its powercreep

Having skills and units be gradually more powerful over time is okay. I accept that in these types of things. Especially since you can generally get by with stuff below the state of the art level of power creep unless the power creep is super fast (which is another problem entirely)

Having skills directly gate your ability to earn points in modes is another literally pay to win.

It's extra annoying because AR is for grails... which are primarily for f2p players who want to merge up their favorites not for the whales who can already +10 stronger units for the arena. >_>

Ah well, maybe Christmas banner will be interesting!

Yea, this mythic crap is a really dick move and just make you not want to spend money on the game even more. Not like AR was that fun to begin with, and now i can care abour it even less. Just want to +10 Aversa and be happy with it

So whats the best way to get feathers? I think its really bizarre you cant buy them, since theyre the one thing I seem to really need (I'm swimming in more orbs and stamina potions than I'll ever need)

You get feathers over time from participating in events like the recent Voting Gauntlet and by completing quests. You also get Feathers from Arena and Arena Assault.

You can also grind for Hero Merit on 0 stamina maps. It's a slow process but it is something you can do if you need Feathers now.

While you largely can't buy Feathers directly, you can buy Orbs, summon Heroes then send the Heroes home for Feathers. I can't really suggest you actually do this.

Tomorrow we're getting the New Powers banners. Yes banners, apparently they're splitting them up(Thank goodness because we don't need three blues on a banner(Though the two Whitewings will likely be sharing the same banner).

Might be Palla, Est, Catria on one, and Ogma/Male Robin on the other.

Comedy option is that they surprise us all by putting Female Robbin and Navarre on a banner

Tempest Trial is starting on the 17th.... and apparently we're getting a second one shortly after this first one ends, starting on the 31st.

And, finally we'll be getting the Christmas banner next week. The trailer will likely come out this weekend.

So the three sisters gain a Brave effect through their refines. I'm kind of interested in building Est now. She has more ATK than Catria and the Spd has become moot

Actually, I wonder which green armors will Est not be able to take down even at fully merged status. Was thinking Catria does have CD -1, so she could activate Moonbow with each engagement, but she will struggle against green armors, whereas Est should be able to take some of them

Robin's refine was actually what I wished it to be, so I'm very happy he actually got it. I saw him with the refine in an infantry team in arena and I was just like -_____-

Wish Robin's special refine was spectrum tactic +5 rather than+4 but yeah otherwise I like it

Got +Atk/-Res Eir off a ticket and don't feel the mystic shield b slot is worth using your B on so I'm getting +1 Lift on wins now. Such whale.

Lots of skills negating damage adaption, and one even negates firesweep/dazzling apparently?

+5 to all stats would be overboard. +4 is usually all you need. I paired Robin with mage Eirika, replacing her link with Siegbert, and gave her Raourblade+ to take advantage of the new refine. My Fire Blessing team of MRobin, Eirika, Aversa, and LH Hector is looking very sexy

Words can't describe all dumb these new blessings are. The fact they only have use in one game mode and you can't double-dip with an existing blessing really pisses me off. I doubt I'll do anything with them

It would be nice if Eir's mystic shield negated firesweep effects instead of wrathful staff. It feels like a pretty lackluster skill. Negating followups on her weapon doesn't sound great on a unit so fast. There's quick riposte, but it's already a failure if you're initiating and can't kill the target.

Light blessings only have use in Aether Raids. I have no plans to give them to anyone.

With the exception of Earth blessings (Greil Mercs/PoR units) I just give my blessings for flavor. Will certainly do the same with the new ones, too. Haven't regretted not caring about this mechanic at all.

Eir negating followups is weird, yeah. I do like how she negates adaptive damage; nice to have a ranged unit whose res still serves its full and proper function.

I would stick Eir's B move on Felicia if I could. Desperation is really good but that B move negating Fury damage and letting Felicia battle dragons without resorting to Glacies has potential. Of course, that would involve sacking my only 5 star Eir for the sake of a build that might be a little better than what I have now, which isn't happening.

I'm well beyond the point of pulling for units because they look strong. I actually like the units but I'm not pulling for more armors. I might take a stab at Lewyn instead if I can't get him with one of these tickets
