Nope. There are millions of fake sociopaths. 99% of them actually have a different psychological disorder.

I really don't feel emotional connections to people. I cried when my cat died, but I felt nothing when my grandfather died or when my cousin died. I only seem to have strong emotional reactions when something directly affects me, and I'm not sure I care about my friends as people so much as they're other people with common interests.

I'm sure it probably isn't sociopathy, but "inability to form enomtional connections to people" is the best way I can describe the symptoms I described above.

That... doesn't mean you're a sociopath.

If not not at all, it's definitely severely limited.

It could really be anything.
It could be depression, sign of socio, psycho, edgy person going through a phase, whatever. Go see atherpaist if you're concerned otherwise just carry on and don't do anything dumb like break the law

Doesn't sound like you are from what you've posted. Honestly just sounds like you're introverted. Maybe depression or some slight social thing but you'll need more details for that.

Hes not, you are. Psychopathy is an innate (aka from birth) lack of emotions in its basic sense. Sociopathy is when it is caused by external factors

Sounds like you're depressed and have been long enough to become apathetic towards almost everything. It's easy to feel bad at the loss of a pet because they're seen as innocent, love filled, little creatures. People aren't innocent and dying is an inevitable reality we all face which make it easier to shrug off.

Talk to a shrink, close friend, family, or random people online. Whatever you're most comfortable with but talk to someone.
