I don't. Mostly, didn't really want to buy one at first. Nor really thought I needed one. But I was fine with regular razors once I started to shave. Then, I thought one would be useful when I was in the military and had to stay beardless everyday, but always forgot to get one. In the end, now I don't go to base as much. I could buy one, but it would be mostly useless these days...

I have big old beard, don't even groom it. I'll probably shave it off next spring with an electric shaver + razor blades. Or maybe I'll just keep it.

I haven't shaved in at least 5 years. This is the second time I let it grow this long before shaving. I really should be grooming though because at this point I am the quintessential neckbeard.

Nope. It's a private business jointly owned by my dad who also has a full beard. We are some hairy mofos.

No, wet razor. I shave my head every day and you can't get a smooth enough shave evenly over your head with an electric.

Yes, for trimming my beard.

If I was going hairless, I'd use a standard razor.

Yes. I only shave ~once a week or so (I have a very short beard, so it's mostly maintenance to keep it from looking messy) and I generally prefer the electric razors to the manual.

The only pain in the neck with the electrics is that my hair grows so quickly that if I don't want to use the beard-trimmer-thingy on the back, I need to shave daily, otherwise it becomes too long for the razor to handle without becoming painful.

Too expensive for me and I dont like the sound. I just get a pack of disposables at the dollar store. I just use them for my legs anyway.

Electric Razors are fine if you can't grow a beard and just like shaving away the peach fuzz that sprouts once in a while.

For those of us with actual facial hair (especially if it grows fast), wet shave with a disposable / safety / straight razor or no shave at all.

For my face, I use a badger hair brush and a stainless steel lather bowl with a bar of Col. Conk glycerine shave soap (4 for $12), a Col. Conk double-track razor and Personna Twin Pivot Plus blades (100 for $14).

For my coin purse and my exhaust port trench, I use a Gillette Mach3. The blades cost a heck of a lot more, but for this purpose they last practically forever, and the handle is rubberized so it's easier to use in the shower than the slippery all-metal Col. Conk.

For everywhere else I generally use a Philips Norelco BodyGroom Pro. It's slower than a blade but you end up with fewer bumps afterwards. It does kinda pinch a bit when shaving certain delicate areas, and the head is too bulky for use in certain cramped areas, which is why I use the Mach3 for those spots.

You want to be soapy on the inside, not the outside. Put one foot on the side of the tub or a shower stool. One hand holds the razor, the other grabs a cheek and spreads. Be gentle and go slow. Don't try to use a straight razor or double-edge safety razor.

It's a bad idea to shave the genital area with it though.

I shave with an electric razor every day, and on weekends I let it grow....and then shave with a razor at the start of the work week.

I prefer electric razors because they are much quicker and easier. However, if it's been more than one day of growth, I have to use a classic razor because the electric just won't cut some of the ones on my chin and under my neck. The hairs lay too flat or something. It's annoying.
