That's what I'm trying to find out. Does he actually care about making the world a less racist place? Or is his end goal just to sit behind his keyboard and call people racists?

A peaceful world is dull and some people can find racism in a ham sandwich. I get it. You wouldn't wanna play a game where the bad guys are already gone and you're just running around a utopian world. That's why most games are dystopian.

From that tweet, we can say that people are being stupid. But to judge them as evil, vile, or dispicible people is a level I wouldn't be comfortable going to until I know more about what they are teaching their children.

I grew up in a household that had parents that didn't always teach all their children exactly the right things. It happens. But they got most things right...about how to treat people, how to be a good person, how to be on time, not to use violence, etc.

They live in a household where they just have an SS uniform laying around at any given moment and they thought no offense would occur when they dressed their son up as Hitler. Doesn't really take a betting man to be able to say which beliefs are being taught to those children.

I agree with this. Hard left isn't tolerant. People seem to get tolerance and open acceptance mixed up. Tolerance is allowing something to be, even though you don't agree with it. Even matters that you feel strongly about. Clearly, much of the left is not like this at all.

However, I don't feel that something like this should be tolerated. Yes, it's just a costume, but the father is clearly going to have influence over his son. The swastika is probably one of the most distinct hate symbols in modern history, and the dad is telling his son that it's okay to wear it. You just have to understand that there is a lot of negative history behind it, and the wound is still relatively fresh. It's been, what? Only 60 years since Nazi Germany. It's very possible that a person could have been a small child in a concentration camp, and still alive today. Imagine seeing people sport the symbol of your worse nightmare in such a joking fashion.

I'm not saying it'd be acceptable and you'd likely face an assault charge. However if someone is willing to pay the legal penalty for committing a crime, they are free to do so.

Just like people illegally protesting and confronting politicians can be arrested. For some people it's worth it.
